GreenPower joined forces with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems that will enable fleets to transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be able of wireless charging of 75 kW.
We were allowed to test drive the EV9 on a local highway for several hours. We found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive long distances. The ride is smooth and smooth over bumps and ruts, and the EV9 does an excellent job of reducing road noise and wind on the highway. With the Biden Administration aiming to electrify school buses nationwide, GreenPower plans on ramping up production to meet demand.
